And another great invention - the Advent calendar

It started more than hundred years ago with little pictures or marks, a kind of countdown for kids to avoid the pestering question "how many days …"
Later calendars got filled with chocolate and recently even with toys.
Well that's history now, this year I've reached a new level - the Advent-Bar - yeah!
An Advent calendar filled with 24 little bottles of booze.
Christmas is coming, day-by-day, bottle-by-bottle ...

It's still not a submarine …

This happens now in Finland. Boats hitting the ground after a strong wind right at the harbor. Luckily the shallow water prevents the owners to report it immediately as stolen.

But I would not only blame the autumn storms for such mess.
Mooring such vessel a bit to short might have contributed here - who knows.

Later one guy was fishing pillows and maps out of the vessel, standing on deck of his boat, the water up to his neck at 10 degrees water temperature.
The captain stays on board ...

This summer it was time to visit the Portuguese south cost - the Algarve.
A wonderful place - for sure - just that tourism has covered all and everything like ivy covering an old house.
I still liked it, well going around by car is highly recommended if you like to see more than just your own hotel or beach.
Beautiful beaches, great sea, delicious food and a climate that forced me to change my daily rhythm.
Change is so good!
